All subcompact keyboard/trackball assemblies feature the G84-4100 keyboard. Available in beige, IBM gray, or black keys. Foreign language key caps available, compatible with Windows 9x fonts.

All keyboards are manufactured with a clear polyurethane, key-hugging membrane that provides a waterproof seal for the keyboard. If the "D" waterproof trackball insert configuration is chosen (see below), the complete assembly becomes waterproof.

All overlays are black unless IBM gray (medium) or IBM gray (light) is specified.

All inserts are color matched to the keyboard overlay.

Balls are black unless a color is specified. White balls have been used in pictures for clarity. (Colored balls available in 100 plus quantities).

Buttons with overlays are backlighted with red LED's. Other colors are optional.
The keyboard interface is standard IBM PC/AT compatible.

Trackball
A 2.0" panel mount trackball enclosed in a housing designed to compliment the keyboard has been developed with all the features of the standard industrial/military trackballs Evergreen is noted for.

- Full optical encoders
- Ball Bearings supporting hardened nitrided steel shafts.
- 2.0 inch ball.
- 400 counts/rev of the ball standard, permitting one pixel resolution.
- Rate sensitive Dynamic Resolution for fast cursor movement.
- PS/2 or Serial versions available. Serial version is Microsoft 2-button or Logitech 3-button compatible and can use existing mouse driver.
- Serial BAUD rates can be factory configured for 1200, 2400, 4800, or 9600 BAUD.
- The keyboard/trackball assembly is compatible with all systems that use an IBM compatible keyboard and either a serial mouse or a PS/2 mouse. The trackball is independently compatible with other systems such as Silicon Graphics, and DEC
