Evergreen manufactures quadrature signal trackballs that will electrically and mechanically interchange with Litton, BEI, T.B.S.II as well as the Disc Instruments L0200-142 used in a variety of machine tool equipment models such as Hurco Co. VMI series. These trackballs are used by the Rosemount System 3 control system used in the oil, gas, petrochemical and food industries. They are also used by the motion picture industry in film processing equipment. Interface connectors currently used are RJ45 telephone jack, an 8-pin and 15-pin D-sub. Other connectors and cables can also be used. The units operate from +5v. The output signals are phased 90 degrees. The unit consists of a trackball assembly, available with a 2" ball only. The resolution of the unit is equal to or better than the units which are being replaced. To install an Evergreen trackball an adaptor plate may be required. We will customize this plate based on your requirements. Please call the factory for installation drawings for quadrature units. |
